DHL Express and Sberbank recognized the best Russian exporters with “Exporters. New Level” award

DHL Express, the world leader in logistics and express delivery, and Sberbank, the largest bank in Russia and one of the leading international financial institutions, recognized the best Russian exporters with “Exporters. New Level” award. The award ceremony took place on February 27 in Moscow as part of the annual Sberbank conference for importers and exporters “Foreign Economic Activity: New Markets”.

The award competition was held among the representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, legal entities and self-employed entrepreneurs who actively export their products in three categories – Export Example, Export Innovator of the Year and E-Commerce Exporter of the Year, a special DHL Express nomination.

The award for Export Example went to OOO Euro Décor and Company while AO Russkaya Mekhanika received the award for Export Innovator of the Year. The special DHL Express award for E-Commerce Exporter of the Year was presented to three winners. Trade mark HODOOR Performance from Moscow which distributes automotive parts and equipment for premium cars styling ranked top and received a Golden Contract from DHL. OOO Dzente (from St. Petersburg, trade maek Lefren) which specializes in handmade leather briefcases, bags and accessories won the second place and a Silver Contract from DHL. Nadezhda Gromova, a self-employed entrepreneur from Izhevsk, the Udmurt Republic (trade mark BUNGLY BOO, production and export of kids clothes) came in third and was awarded with DHL’s Silver Contract as well.

“Exporters. New Level” award is an annual national competition for entrepreneurs set up by Sberbank and DHL Express and aimed at identifying, supporting and promoting the best Russian export practices. When selecting winners, the following factors are taken into account: export sales growth trend, export geography extension, strategy to promote products on foreign markets, export product innovation, and use of online channels in export sales will be taken into account.
