Documents to Receive a Shipment in DHL Express Service Point
In order to receive a shipment addressed to a private individual, the receiver whose name is stated in the waybill shall provide:
  • A valid passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation or a valid driving license of the citizen of the Russian Federation (for the Russian residents);
  • A valid international passport (for foreign residents).

Those not stated as the receivers of the shipment addressed to a private individual shall provide:
  • A power of attorney from the receiver;
  • The copy of the first passport page confirming the identity of the receiver whose name is stated on the waybill;
  • The passport of the receiver whose name is stated in the power of attorney.

In order to receive a shipment addressed to a legal entity, the receiver shall provide:
  • A power of attorney from the legal entity to allow to receive the shipment;
  • The passport of the receiver whose name is stated in the power of attorney.

In order to receive a cross-border shipment from an e-retailer, those not stated as the receivers of the shipment may get it based on:
  • Attested power of attorney;
  • The passport of the receiver whose name is stated in the power of attorney;
or
  • A statement, written and submitted in advance in DHL’s Service Point (the receiver shall write a statement in the presence of the Service Point employee, and the statement is kept in the Central Office)
  • The passport of the receiver whose name is stated in the power of attorney.
